I would like to thank Dr Nguyen and his staff at Miami Skin and Vein for the care I received to resolve a vein problem I've been trying to get properly diagnosed and treated since August of 2017. After seeing 4 other vein doctors (one of whom performed a laser vein removal with no good follow up) I was lucky enough to find Dr. Nguyen in Miami. He was the only doctor who gave me a very thorough evaluation, explained all of the latest treatment options and eased my mind as to what could be done to address my particular problem. His sonographer, Yanett Lopez, spent at least an hour with me scanning, via ultrasound, all the veins in both my legs during my first appointment and has continued to be an integral help to the doctor through my treatment sessions. She, like Dr Nguyen, is very kind and answered any question I asked. All the other offices I had visited had much shorter scanning procedures and/or skipped this very important aspect of my diagnosis. My first procedure with Dr. Nguyen took place on Monday, April 17th at his Boca Raton office and my second procedure took place on Wednesday, the same week, at his Coral Gables office. Dr Nguyen is well versed in all the latest technology and information available in his field and is a perfectionist with a great work ethic. So far I have had immediate relief around the inside of my right knee but as I am still in the healing stages of my treatment I anticipate even more good results as I heal. Dr Nguyen has made a promise to me to continue follow up until all the veins that have been troubling me are taken care of. Instead of rushing to get me in and out in a hurry he takes a more conservative approach to his treatments, which sometimes leads to more visits to solve a particular issue, but can also lead to better results and the use of less medication usage to remedy a problem. I am very grateful to have found Dr Nguyen and now have a much brighter outlook on the potential for leading my usual active lifestyle than I did before working with him.
